My deep and sincere condolences to the family of Ms. Irene Daigle Dibos. As difficult as it is to lose your dear loved one to the ‘enemy’ death, may you draw comfort and courage from the love and support of friends and family. There is also much comfort and hope to be gained from what the Bible really teaches as well: The patriarch Job raised this question when he felt near to death. “If a man dies, can he live again?” he asked. (Job 14:14); “Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully!” (Isaiah 26:19); “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his [ Jesus’ ] voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life,..” (John 5:28, 29); “For he [Christ] must rule as king until God has put all enemies under his feet. And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” —1 Corinthians 15:25, 26
