Irene Daigle Dibos passed away peacefully on Monday, January 15, 2018 at the age of 94. Beloved mother of Gary Fonseca, Michael Fonseca, the late Barbara Flanagan, and the late Patricia Kirsch. Daughter of the late Luke and Alcide Daigle. Sister of Estelle Wiggins, Ernest Daigle, and the late Marie Isabel. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
Irene grew up in Napoleonville, LA and moved to New Orleans at an early age. She was a resident of Heritage Manor in Slidell for the past 4 years. She worked at Home Life Insurance Company in New Orleans until her retirement. Irene had a passion for dancing and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until service time. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
