There are no words when we lose a parent... all we have are the Awesome memories we made with them, we have pictures that will last a lifetime... we have voicemails and text that we can go back and listen to or read....but most of all we have their love tucked away deep in our hearts to keep for a lifetime... We miss them and want them here with us forever.. If only that could happen. Just remember, we will all be together again in the end.... So, smile, cry, laugh but most of all Live.... remember.......they have not left you completely... they are always with you !!!!!!!

Mrs. Janice, Shannon and Bill, I cant even begin to imagine the loss you are faced with. Mr. Bill, since I was a child, was always kind to me. As I got older he became more of a friend, someone I spent quite a bit of time talking to and getting to know and getting to know me.. From adolescence to adult hood he saw me grow. Our paths went separate ways for a while and we met again, this time under different circumstances. I got the pleasure of getting to know and falling in love with and marrying your beautiful daughter whom I had heard so much about over the years. In becoming part of your family I got the pleasure to meet who I now know as "POPS".. caring, loving, funny, (grumpy) pops. you guys raised great children and beautiful families that love you very much and I am proud to now be part of that. No amount of words will ever be able to fill the void that is now there. through out his last week I got a chance to talk to him and I reassured him that I will do whatever I possibly can for as long as I possibly can to always take care of the family that he worked so hard to raise, I hope he heard me. My heart is broken for you guys and know that I am here and I love you. He is always in our memories and forever in our hearts. P.S. Pops..... when I see you again I expect one hell of a fishing story

Well said BJ. He was the absolute best father in law either one of us could have ever hoped for. He entered a room and everything changed, his wit, sarcasm and sweetness (he would deny the sweet part) brightened every holiday, Birthday and crawfish burl... luckily he inherited a son in law and a daughter in law to keep the APPEL sarcasm and wit going strong! I'd like to think we made him proud ..Through this we've all grown closer and at the end of the day I think he's very proud of us all. Love ya BJ!

You guys are amazing...I am so lucky! I'm in tears...this is the first time I've had courage to get on and read my Dad's Guestbook. He absolutely did love both of you, sometimes I think more than me and Bubby! LOL The three of you were kindred spirits. I love you both and am so lucky and appreciative to have had your support throughout this journey. I miss him so much...it is so surreal... I love you, Daddy!
