Tula Scallan Raphiel passed away at her residence on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the age of 94. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry Joseph Raphiel, Sr. and the mother of Harry J. Raphiel, Jr. (Loretta) and Huey P. Raphiel. Grandmother of Turena Raphiel Tante (Tommy), Jilliane Raphiel McCardle (Todd) and Alexandra Raphiel. Great grandmother of Lori, Ireland, Breanna, Harrison, Tommy, Ben, Henderson and Rosalind. Daughter of the late Ura Goudeau and Walter Jules Scallan. Sister of Janice McDowell, Patsy Caffery and the late Rena Turner, Thelma Armand and Bill Scallan. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
