Tammie R. Weaver passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. She was a resident of St. Charles Parish and was preceded in death by the love of her life, Isaac Weaver, her loving daughter, Virginia “Jenny” Lee Weaver, her mother, Nellie T. Kell, and her father, Richard Thornton. She is survived by her children, Katrina Kruithof (Steven), Sandra McCullough (Mark), Barbara Dupre (Keith), Christina Weaver (Shannon Plaisance), Jerry Weaver and Douglas Weaver. She is also survived by her siblings, Virginia Carden (Jerry), Susan Laird, Emma Lynn Sellers, Helen Reeves (Van) and Richard McGuire. Mrs. Weaver leaves a legacy of 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA and the visitation will begin at 11:00 am until service time.
