Marion James Deville, 82, passed away August 14, 2017. He was born and raised in Marksville, LA and graduated from Marksville High School. At the age of 18 he moved to New Orleans live with family. He served in the Louisiana National Guard.
Marion was employed at Commodity Credit Corporation, Southern Pacific Rail Road and was at Keiser Aluminum for 20 years until he started his own business and retired.
He was preceded in death by his mother Adine Lemoine DeVille, father Irvan DeVille, brother Terral DeVille and sister Judy Demattie.
He is survived by his wife Carol DeVille, their children Karen Canzoneri, Craig DeVille, Dawn Lancaster and Kurt Deville, son-in-laws Paul Canzoneri and Don Lancaster, sister Vivian Laprairie Discant, sister and brother-in-law Margie and Nick Ciaccio and sister-in-law Sister Francetta Scherer, 4 grandchildren Melissa Callison, Gene Ballex, Ben Ballex and Jacob Canzoneri, great grandson Ian Santanello.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA at 2:00 pm and the visitation will begin at 11:00 am until service time.
