Laura Anne Leonard Vitrano Rome was born on August 27, 1940 in West Monroe, LA, and passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017. She was raised in New Orleans, LA and lived in Metairie, LA. She was the loving wife of the late Lee Joseph Rome, and was the loving mother of Diana Vitrano Mondebello, Tommy Vitrano (Aryna) and the late Melanie Vitrano Palamoytis, grandmother of Brandon Mondebello (Katie) and Shana Mondebello, great grandmother of Enzo and Patrick Mondebello, step-mother of Cindy Rome Wells (Bobby), step grandmother of Monica Waguespack Lerille (Joe) and Earl Waguespack, Jr., and step great-grandmother of Trista Lerille and the godmother of Gabrielle G. Witcher. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 12:00 pm at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA and the visitation will begin at 10:00 am until service time.
