My most sincere sympathy and prayers for all the Family. I knew Jimmy for four years at Holy Cross School, as a teacher and prefect of discipline, and I can honestly say he was one the finest young men I was fortunate enough to interact with in 25 years of high school work. And I feel I speak for all of his former teachers also. He certainly left an indelible mark on me. May God comfort you all.

He was much too young to leave us. Had "miles to go before he sleeps". At least, he is no longer in pain. We know that he "gave his all". If he can, he is now "raising hell" elsewhere ! May he rest in peace. Amen (so be it).

I have never met a man like Jim who in one breath could find the silver lining in any situation. I used to visit him often for advise and just to listen to his stories. He did so much for others I'm amazed he ever had time for himself. I will miss him deeply as he kept me grounded and always helped me chose the right direction in life and work. I'm praying for the whole Besselman family each day on the loss of such a wonderful mentor, friend, father, husband, and grandfather. God Bless

Pat and family. Gail and I are deeply saddened as are thousands of other friends Jim has touched and inspired with his family pride, and energy, leadership, and community service. He was indeed a role model and man's man... We've shared some special moments over the last 53 years and I shall miss him and think of him often.
God bless...you and family are in our thoughts and prayers.
