Gertrude A. Broadbridge, age 83, entered eternal peace on Friday, March 17, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She is the beloved wife of the late Wesley E. Broadbridge, Sr. Mother of Greta A., Wesley E., Jr. and Trudy A. Estopinal. Mother-in-law of Carol “Susan” Broadbridge and Robert Estopinal. Daughter of the late Victor A. Archote, Sr. and Toledo Malloy Archote, sister of the late Victor A. Archote, Jr., the late Joyce A. Reid, the late Milton J. Archote and the late Audrey M. Pecquet. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Gertrude was a native of New Orleans and a resident of St. Bernard Parish for the past 52 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA and the visitation will begin at 11:00 am until service time.
