John, Courtney, Jordan, John Winston, Dwight, Carrie and extended family: I was so saddened to hear about the passing of Cathleen. Cathleen had a special connection to her and my grandmother, Francis Cassel (Grits) and to my mother (her Aunt Loretta). I recall that Cathleen often called Grits and Loretta to share laughter, teasing and her life. She called me on occasion to share the same and give me a hard time about living so far away. She was so very proud of Courtney and Jordan. Cathleen drew an illustration that hung in the entry way of Grits and Gramps' home that was titled: " Grits is a brick house"

Thinking of you all and comforted by many memories!
