William John Neupert Sr.

William John Neupert was born in New Orleans on August 25, 1947 and passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018. He was a devoted husband to Margaret Kopf Neupert for 51 years and a loving father to their sons, William Neupert Jr. (Beth) and John Neupert (Kristel). Bill was a loving grandfather to Maggie, Robert, Anna and Sarah. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Bryan and Willie Mae Neupert, as well as four sisters and a brother. He will be missed by family and friends. Bill was a retired Lieutenant of the East Jefferson Levee District Police and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a long-time member of St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held December 4, 2018 at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 4921 W. Metairie Ave. in Metairie. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. with mass following. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
