William Joseph Bloecher Sr.

William Joseph Bloecher, Sr. (Bill, Dad, and Pawpaw) passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, March 6, 2023, at the age of 67.

Bill was born in New Orleans, LA on June 28, 1955, to the late Kieran and Joan Bloecher. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Patricia, his two children, William “Bill” Bloecher Jr. (Stacy) and Keri Bloecher (Duane), and his five grandchildren, Madison (Austin), Will (Alysa), Deven, Blake, and Zoe. Additionally, he is survived by his siblings, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A native of “Airline Park” in Metairie, LA and a resident of Covington, LA. Bill was known to have a “no BS” attitude and a great sense of humor. He was a Corvette enthusiast, animal lover, and a self-made businessman. Bill had a passion for family and early morning coffee and donuts with friends. He also loved bringing his childhood friends together with his annual Airline Park Crawfish Boil.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70001 on Saturday, March 18, 2023. Visitation will be from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM and a Memorial Mass will begin at 10:00 AM in Garden of Memories Funeral Home Chapel.
