Tracy Rhea Davis

Tracy Rhea Davis, 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, February 3, 2017. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Tracy Lee Davis and Elnor Mathis Davis. He was a former resident of Mobile, Alabama and a current resident of Kenner, Louisiana. Beloved husband of Marilyn K. Davis; loving father of Sheryl Skinner, Connie Coffman (Cliff), Janet Davis (Roger), Steven Davis (Bobbie) and Michael Davis (Michelle). He was lovingly called Paw-Paw by his thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Tracy is also survived by his sister, Elnor Barron and fondly remembered by many relatives, cousins, dear friends and his extended family. Tracy graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1958. He proudly served in the U.S. Army in Europe as a strategic missile commander. Throughout his life, Tracy enjoyed the outdoors. He especially loved hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time at his camp. Most of all, he loved relaxing on the beach with his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 6500 Kawanee Avenue in Metairie, LA. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
