Theresa Guidry Knipper

Theresa Guidry Knipper entered into eternal rest on September 6, 2023 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Andrew Knipper; her parents, Russell Guidry, Sr. and Odile Rivet Guidry; and her siblings: Carl Guidry, Sr., Audrey Galiano, Aubrey Guidry, Leah Guidry, and Russell Guidry, Jr. Theresa is survived by her daughters, Amanda Martin-Sanchez and Leah Keller Stanton, her son-in-law Paul Sanchez, 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, goddaughters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Theresa was born in Plaquemine, LA and was a longtime resident of Jefferson Parish. She is a parishioner of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Metairie, LA. She worked for many years as a licensed practical nurse and volunteered over the years with Red Cross.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive Metairie, LA 70001 on Thursday, September 14, 2023.
