Sherri Lynn Cusco'

Sherri Lynn Cusco’ passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022 at the age of 55 years. She was a native of Birmingham, Alabama and a resident of Destrehan, Louisiana. Sherri is survived by her mother, Michelle Rutherford Smith, her loving husband, Dr. Jose’ Cusco’ and cherished by her children, Jose’ and Camille Cusco’. She was preceded in death by her father, the late Murray Newlin. Sherri is also survived by her siblings, Donald (Carrie) and Randy Newlin; nieces and nephews, Katie Brazil and Ben, Jake and Evan Newlin.

Sherri was a registered nurse, a homemaker and a loving mother to her two children. She also enjoyed working and volunteering with a variety of charities.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral visitation only on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, Louisiana 7000. Visitation will be from 1:00PM until 3:00PM. Burial to be at a later date.
