Shelby Camet

Shelby W. Camet was called peacefully to her heavenly home on Thursday, December 6, 2018. Daughter of the late Ethel Shelby Werner Myott and the late Joseph Anthony Werner, Jr; beloved wife of Louis Camet, III, with whom she shared 44 wonderful years of marriage; loving mother to the late Louis Camet, IV and Lynn C. Naquin (Justin); doting grandmother to Kaylee Camet, Brycen Naquin, and Hunter Naquin; great-grandmother to Karsen; sister to Cynthia Sweeney (Bob), Donald Werner (Debbie), and Ann Surla (Ricky); and aunt to many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Shelby worked many years for Hibernia Bank, and cared for children as a substitute teacher at Rudolph Matas. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA 70001. Visitation will be held prior to services from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
