Sharon Ann Ellex

Sharon Ann Bergeron Reichert Ellex, age 75, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 2, 2023

Sharon was a resident of Covington, Louisiana at the time of her passing.  She is survived by her son John Darren Reichert.  Proud grandmother of Jacob Pregeant, daughter of the late Lovide and Eloise Bergeron, sister of Gail Nunez (Charles), Lisa Cody and the late James Bergeron, Louis Bergeron, Michael Bergeron, Darlene Kramer Howard and Jeannette Chantry.

She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews to cherish her memory. She was devoted to her family and treasured her friends.

Sharon was a fun loving, amazing woman that loved to travel.  Sharon worked for Bell South/AT&T for forty years. She began in New Orleans and received a transfer to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she flourished. Sharon returned to Louisiana after her retirement to live closer to those she loved and found joy in making her new house a home to many. She loved cooking.

Her family invites you to join us at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, Louisiana, 70001 on Saturday, November 18, 2023.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 am with a Funeral Mass beginning at 1:00 pm followed by internment.
