Salvador J Cusimano

Salvador J. Cusimano, Jr., 79, passed away on Friday, June 22. Husband of Hilra H. Cusimano for 33 years. Preceded in death by his parents; Salvador J. Cusimano, Sr., and Anna B. Cusimano; his brother Nunzio S. Cusimano, Sr.; sister Antoinette C. Cousins; and a great grandson Brock Emery Broyard. Survived by 1 sister, Paula Jurisich (Joe); his children Phyllis Martinez (Jay), Vincent Cusimano (Janet), Susan Kippers (Joe), Karen Livaccari (the late Johnny), and Christopher Songy (Cindy); 10 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. Salvador was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. He graduated from Holy Cross Academy. Salvador was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church and was a member of Knights of Columbus many years ago.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA 70001. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
