Richard Lachney

On April 20th, 2018, Richard Lachney Sr. began the next stage of his excursion at the age of 66. He had a seemingly never-ending battle with cancer that allowed for his never give in attitude to be exhibited until the day the Lord gifted him with eternal peace. Survived by his wife, Judy Lachney; three children, Toni Giarratano, Richard Lachney Jr. and Jennifer Lachney; grandchildren, Amanda Shaffer, Jessica Giarratano, Caydence Lachney, Alaina Lachney and Trent Lachney; great grandchild, Amelia Rose; brothers, Ray B Lachney, Kenneth Lachney and Clifton Lachney Jr.; and sisters, Mabel Lachney and Gertrude Oates. Preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Lachney Sr. and Agnes Dauzat Lachney; brothers, Clinton, James and Russell; sisters, Julia, Jeanette and Bernadette.
Visitation is on Tuesday, April 24th, 2018 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA from 11:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. Attire is casual. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
