Ricky, born October 1, 1951 in New Orleans, lived on the Westbank before moving to Metairie at a very young age where he lived out his life. He graduated from East Jefferson High School in 1969 and attended Southeastern Louisiana University where he was president of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He played all sports in high school and enjoyed coaching his three children. He worked at his father's Amoco service stations and in various automotive industry roles for many years. He then followed his dream of a second career in the casino industry. After 29 years of dedication, he retired from Boyd Gaming's Treasure Chest Casino in Kenner as Chief Operation Manager in 2021.

At the time of his death he was a member of 19th Hole and Shadow Lawn enjoying his love of golf, playing multiple times a week. He was a life-long member of the Kenner and Harahan bowling leagues, another one of his passions, and giving him great pride in shooting a perfect 300 game. He was a former member of Knights of Columbus and Atlas Carnival Club. A special thanks to our relatives and friends who provided support and compassion during our time of need. Ricky will be missed by all who knew him. He will be forever remembered for his love for his family and his friendly and easy going demeanor.
