My dear friend, I miss you so much already!! Thanks for being my friend my sister and teaching me so much through life and this last year! It will be tough to carry on without you; but I know that's what you want and we will honor your wishes! I'm so blessed to have you part of my life! Love you T

God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, "come to me."
You didn't deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best
And when I saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back
To suffer that again.

It is so hard to find words. I remember Renee as a child who was younger than me and always fun to be around. I hope for comfort in the memories for her mom and dad and her other family.

Death is nothing at all...
I have only slipped away to the next room...
I am I and you are you...
Whatever we were to each, that we are still.

Call me by my old familiar name,
Speak it to me in the same way you always used.
Put no difference into your tone,
Wear no false air of solemnity or sorrow.

Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect, without the ghost of a shadow on it.

Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was.
There is absolutely unbroken continuity.
What is this death but a negligible accident.

I am but waiting for you for an interval
Somewhere very near
Just around the corner.
All is well.

We were all so blessed to have Renee in our lives. She was such a good friend to me. We met about 23 years ago volunteering at school when our daughters were in 1st grade and decided we were in desperate need of a Mother's Day out and much needed adult conversation. Almost every Friday we went to a movie (even if it was a horrible one and we saw a lot of those) or shopping, lunch or just hanging out at home. She became more of a sister to me. She was my confidant, my voice of reason, my cheerleader, and I knew she would always have my back. I will miss her so much and she will be forever in my heart. . The entire family and all her friends have my deepest condolences.

Emily and Kyle, your mom was just the sweetest and will definitely be missed by so many. I have many fun memories of our times together at HH swim meets, which I will cherish forever. May all of your special moments with her help to ease the pain of her not being here on earth, talk of her often and know that she will continue living on in your hearts always until you meet again in Heaven. Prayers for y'all, your dad and all the family during this most difficult time.
