Merle Gaudin Boner

Merle Gaudin Boner passed away at Ormond Nursing Home on Wednesday, February 17, 2020 at the age of 91. She was born in Vacherie, LA to the late George and Marie Gaudin and grew up in Westwego with her siblings: Anna Mae Guastella (Paul), Alice Veron (Richard), Pearl Marcomb (Carl), Alfred Gaudin (Audrey), and Calvin Gaudin (Evelyn). She was married for over 60 years to the late George Boner. They raised 4 loving children: Deborah Reese (Ricky), George Boner Jr., Randy Boner (Barbara), and Alan Boner (late, Alanna). She is survived by 7 grandchildren: Natalie Merrick (Wayne II), Bradley Reese, Angelle Griffin (Matt), Alicia Berthelot (Kenny), Randy Boner Jr., Alan Boner Jr., and Crystal Roddy (Cody), as well as 16 great-grandchildren. Merle resided in Metairie, LA, was a homemaker who helped her husband at his tv repair shop, George's TV, and enjoyed sewing. She will be missed by those who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Garden of Memories Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive Metairie, LA 70001 on Monday, February 22, 2021. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon with a service starting at 2:00 pm followed by interment.
