Mary Culotta

Mary Piediscalzo Culotta passed away on March 30, 2023 at the age of 98. Mary was born on January 18, 1925 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Frances Carderara Piediscalzo and Joseph Piediscalzo. In addition to her parents, Mary was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Culotta; her brothers Chris, Frank, Sam, Philip, Joe and Johnny Piediscalzo; her sisters Josie Graziano and Mary Ann Coates. Mary is survived by her son, Joseph C. Culotta and his wife, Joan; daughter Patricia Culotta Touro; granddaughter Kristine Culotta Carriere and her husband, Vernon; great-grandsons Austin, Brady, and Ryan Carriere; plus many nieces and nephews. She was a resident of Metairie, Louisiana for the past 38 years. Her favorite past-times were gardening, playing bingo, and doing the word jumble from the newspaper. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by mass in the chapel at 12 p.m. at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, La. 70001. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery No. 3, 3421 Esplanade Ave. New Orleans, La. 70119
