Margaret Rosalie Hoag Langland passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the age of 88. She was born on August 14, 1928 to the late Margaret Carter Hoag and Elwin E. Hoag. Beloved wife of the late Harry Langland Jr. Loving mother of Jennie Otillar-Toepfer (Mel LaGroue) and Robert A. Otillar (Michael Tipton). Grandmother of Randall M. Toepfer (Cléta), Chantall T. Sevin (Jerry), and Aaron R. Otillar and great-grandmother of Clara and Josephine Toepfer. Sister of Judith Hoag Mollere and the late Richard C. Hoag. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Margaret was a longtime resident of Kenner, LA and a member of Kenner Presbyterian Church. She retired from Texaco Inc. as an executive assistant after over 30 years of service.
A Funeral Service will be held at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 12:30 pm. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until service time. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
