My heartfelt condolences...Aunt Maizie was a big part of my life, and her absence will be felt. She was always looking out for me and others, always checking in to make sure I was "taking care." It was always great to have her at some many family events, but I really enjoyed a long weekend in Switzerland with Scott, Alysoun, and Uncle Ronald best. That is a wonderful memory.
Scott, Rhonda, Uncle Ronald, and all of the Marks family, please know all of you and Aunt Maizie will be in my thoughts and prayers today.
To Mom and Denise, I also sorry your sister is no longer with the two of you. Special prayers and thoughts for you as well.
All my love and sympathy,
Laura

My condolences to Ronald and family. Maize was such a kind, sweet person, thinking of others first. She was such a help to me during my time in Metairie. A strong Christian lady who fought the good fight. Love to all.

Rest in peace, Maizie. You put up a long, hard fight. A merited crown awaits you. I have lots of fond memories of our high school days together.

I will always remember Aunt Maizie as an incredibly strong woman. No matter what life put in front of her, she pushed through with grace. May you rest in peace, Aunt Maizie.
