Madeline Kay Mann

Madeline Kay Smith Mann passed away on Thursday, September 7 at the age of 61. She was born in New Orleans, LA on February 14, 1962 and resided in Seminary, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott David Mann; sister, Nada Smith Christensen; parents, Charles F. and Annie A. Smith; and brother-in-law, Alan M. Lanoix. She is survived by her son, Rory Dominick (Lisa Marie and children) and siblings: C. Michael Smith (Deborah), Cynthia Duckworth (Greg), Patrick Smith (Holly), Louis "Eddie" Smith (Angela), Victoria Lanoix, and Christopher Smith. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family members, lifelong friends, and co-workers. She graduated from Bonnabel High School and then John Jay Cosmetology school. Her first job after beauty school was with Supercuts and loved it so much that she stayed for over 40 years ending her career as a Regional Manager. Kay loved life. She had a friendly smile that could light up a room and make you feel immediately at ease. She had fun everywhere she went. She loved to go camping, spending time with family, living in the country, going to hear live music and traveling. Words cannot express how much she will be missed.
