Tribute

Linda Ann Huber entered into her eternal home in heaven on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the age of 63.  Linda was the beloved and devoted spouse and best friend of Anthony E. (Manny) Gagliano for 22 years who was by her side until the end of her earthly journey.  She was the loving mother of Marvin Lee May and proud grandmother of Brendan Shaun May and Taylor Leigh May.  She was the daughter of the late Bernard Huber and Mary Francis Raise Huber and the foster daughter of the late Albert Daniel Huber and Katherine Zito.  She is survived by her sister Theresa Coppock, brother-in law Craig Coppock, brother Bernard Huber, and sister Anna Bullock, daughter-in-law Jackie May, father-in-law A. Vernon Gagliano, mother-in-law Frances C. Loeske, sister-in-law Lauren Peperone, sister-in-law Grace Schmitt and dear friend Carl DeAbate.  Linda was preceded in death by her brother the late Thomas Huber.  Linda is also survived by many friends who will dearly miss her.  Linda was a shining example of a loyal, holy, and faith filled person who lived humbly in service to family, community and church.  She spread her happiness to all those who she met.   She served as a supervisory clerk at the U.S. Probation Office in New Orleans, LA for 25 years.  She volunteered for several church ministries including eucharistic ministry and choir.  She was also a retreatant at the former Cenacle Retreat House in Metairie, LA.  Linda was an avid Cajun dancer and enjoyed all forms of music and travel.  She gave herself and her love and devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren and will be intensely missed and always cherished.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 1:00 PM with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA.  Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetary.  Online condolences may be offered at www.gardenofmemoriesmetairie.com
