Ligia Fisher Valle

Ligia Fisher Valle passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the age of 80. She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Joaquin Valle, Sr.; her loving children, Vania Valle, Yolani Jimenez (Carlos), and Joaquin Valle, Jr.; her grandchildren: Paulette Valle Isch (Ryan), Alexandra Valle, Daniela Jimenez, Cristian Jimenez, and Joaquin Valle, III; her great-grandchild, Ava Isch; and her sister, Liliana Brandel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Salomon Fisher and Elsa Anderson Brandel; and her siblings, Boris Fisher, Jaime Brandel, and Rebecca Brandel.
Ligia was born in La Ceiba, Honduras, and first moved to the U.S in 1960 where she lived in New Jersey. She moved back to Honduras in 1965 and worked in the tourism industry in San Pedro Sula. In 1988, she relocated to Metairie, LA and moved to Kenner, LA in 2006. She was an active investor in real estate for Valle Properties. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and joke telling and being a quality and happy person.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Monday, January 21, 2019. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until the service begins at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
