Joel Richard Phillips, Jr.

Joel Richard Phillips, Jr. (Bubba) passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at the age of 60.  He was born in Bessmer, AL and resided in River Ridge, LA. He graduated from East Jefferson High School and was employed with National Polyfab Co., Inc. He was previously employed with the Carpenters Local 1846 and Entergy.

He was the son of Joyce Glasscox Phillips and the late Joel Richard Phillips, Sr.  He was the father of Joel Richard Phillips, III and Sandra Nicole Phillips and the grandfather of Aiden, Landen, Addisyn, Carter and Cadence. He was the brother of Anita Brown (Chuck), Juanita Barbaro (Jeff), Alan Phillips (Debby) and Deborah Lizarraga (Daniel). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

 

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial service at Amazing Love Church, 222 Citrus Rd. in River Ridge, LA on Sunday, December 12, 2021.  Visitation will begin at 5:00pm followed by the service at 6:00pm officiated by Rusty Silvey.
