Jerry C. Ducote Sr.

Jerry C. Ducote, Sr., born June 21, 1943, peacefully passed away at his home in Metairie, LA on January 17, 2022. He was a retired carpenter who never skipped a morning to get his coffee with friends at the local PJ’s and CC’s coffee shop. He was a member of Elks Lodge # 30 in Metairie, LA. He was survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Stelly Ducote; his daughter, Rebecca Ducote; granddaughters, Amanda Neff and Heather Sunseri; and his brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Shirley Ducote. He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry C. Ducote, Jr.; his brothers, Harold and Landry Ducote; his sister, Joanne Chapman; and his parents, Della Lamartiniere and Eugene Ducote.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. New Orleans, LA 70119 on Friday, January 28, 2022. Visitation will begin at 11:30 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 pm followed by interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive Metairie, LA 70001. Arrangements are under the care of Garden of Memories Funeral Home.
