Jami Denise Daigle

Jami Denise Daigle, born on October 30, 1956 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the Late Stanley P. Daigle and Carol M. Daigle passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022. A graduate of Riverdale High School in Old Jefferson, Jami moved to Pensacola, Florida where she was a stay at home mom to her son, Joshua. Years later when she returned to New Orleans, Jami went to work for Pfisterer-Anderer Dental Laboratory and then Jefferson Parish as a Code Enforcement Officer. Jami was a lover of old movies, her cats, and her grand-dogs. At her leisure, she greatly enjoyed gardening, art, singing, cooking, fishing, and fellowship. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Andre Daigle. Jami is survived by a huge, loving family which includes her son, Joshua C. Neill (Azure Neill), her siblings; Daniel Daigle (Stephanie), Elise McGinley (Kevin), Nanette Jarvis (Late, David), Christian Daigle (Virginia), and Jan Garcia (David), her nieces and nephews; Scott Daigle (Jennifer), Jacob McKnight, Jessica Daigle, Nicole Izatt (Ryan), Shaun McGinley (Caitlin), Michelle Wright (Jason), Adam Daigle (Liron), Mark Daigle, Andrea Garcia, Olivia Garcia, and Julian Garcia. Also survived by 9 grandnieces and 3 grandnephews.
Services will be held on Monday November 21, 2022 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, Louisiana 70001. Visitation hours will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with a Memorial Service beginning at 1:00 pm.
