Howard Earle Bennett Jr.

Howard Earle Bennett, Jr. passed away at his home on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the age of 75. He was a lifelong resident of River Ridge, LA and a parishioner of St. Matthew the Apostle Church. A dedicated civic advocate and humanitarian supporter, he was committed to community civic, environmental, social and political efforts. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Earle Bennett, Sr. and Orris Mae Bennett and his wife of 34 years, Sandra Wilken Bennett. He is survived by his son, Patrick H. Bennett (wife Patricia); his daughter, Catherine P. Bennett; three grandchildren, Baylie, Payton and Parker Bennett and his sister, Carolyn Bennett.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11:00 am at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr. in Metairie, LA (504) 833-3786. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am. Interment will be in the Resurrection Mausoleum located in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
