Geraldine Wood Fenner

Geraldine W. “Gerry” Fenner passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin H. Fenner, Sr., her parents Friday Robinson Wood and Myrtic Fride Wood, her brother Robert Wood and her grandson, Hans Justin Fenner. Gerry is survived by her loving children, Alvin H. Fenner, Jr., Lionel Carl Fenner (Brenda), Floretta Fenner Boone (Mitchel) and Brenda Jamie Fenner and also survived by her 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and was a lifelong resident of Metairie, LA. She was a member of First Christian Church. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, June 27 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA and the visitation will begin at 11:00 am until service time.
