George E. Darr Jr.

George Edward Darr, Jr. a native of Bedford, PA and a resident of Gramercy, LA passed away peacefully Thursday, June 10, 2021, he was 64 years old.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Edward Darr, Sr. and Theresa Darr; two loving sons, Edward Darr and Michael Darr; siblings: Alberta Stoker, Maria Frechou, William Darr, Donna Dennis, Joann Taranto, Roy Darr and Connie Darr.

George is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years Gay Nell Darr; children: George (Hailey), Joe Darr, Carolyn (Shane); daughters-in-law: Melissa Darr and Bobbie Tucker; grandchildren: Shane (Marissa), Jordon, Joseph, Paige (Steven), Eddie, Taylor, Michael, Cameron, Jaydyn, Jaryn, Brandon, and Mason; great grandchild, Finley Grace; siblings: Katherine Maggard, Betty Credidio and Charles Darr; mother- in-law Dollie Badeaux; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, Louisiana 70001, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30am.m.
