Frank Eugene Lawson

Frank E. Lawson 78, of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on December 17, 2018 in Avondale, Louisiana.
Frank Lawson was born in Knoxville, Tennessee to William Lawson and Ruby Atchley on October 19th 1940. He married Dolores Marie Ragas on June 14th 1958 in Harrison County, Mississippi, they were married for 60 years and had four wonderful sons. He was a Mason and Carpenter by trade with local 1846, and spent 30 years working as a General Superintendent for Leonard Hebert and Professional Construction in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Frank is preceded in death by his son John A. Lawson, both parents, Ruby Atchley Anderson and William Alex Lawson and his siblings, William, Steve, Larry, Carolyn and Donald.
Frank is survived by his wife Dolores R. Lawson, Sister Debbie Gatlin, Sons Frank E. Lawson Jr., Daniel E. Lawson and Troy R. Lawson, Grandchildren Corey, Bryan, Chad, Mindy, Kalyn, Daniel Jr, Kayla, Megan, Dustin, and Ashley.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA 70001 with Deacon “G” Biaggio DiGiovanni of St. Benilde Parish, officiating. Visitation will be held prior to services from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery on Monday, December 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
