Eugene Joseph Young

Eugene Joseph Young passed away on September 12, 2023 at home. He was 78 years old. He was the beloved husband of Faye Maxwell Young. They shared 50 years of marriage together.
Born in Gonzales, Louisiana, he was the son of Dayton and Eunice Young. He graduated from East Jefferson High School and Southeastern Louisiana University. He was employed by Texaco for 10 years and then started his own business in oil and gas production.
He was a member of several oil and gas associations. When he is remembered it will be for his kindness, love of family and generosity.
He is survived by his wife Faye Young and his son Jon Young and many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Garden of Memories Funeral Home at 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to the time of service.
