Emanuella Lentini Peraino, also known as "Aunt Penny", passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the age of 88. She was born in Kenner, LA to the late Vita and Giuseppe "Joseph" Lentini.Beloved wife of the late Ralph McClanaham. Devoted mother of Robert Gomez. Loving grandmother of Heath Gomez and great-grandmother of Cruz and Haven Gomez. Sister of Anthony Lentini, Rose Lentini Cole, and the late Sal Lentini and Jeanette Lentini Ackel. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Emanuella was a singer at the Roosevelt Hotel for many years where she was known as "Penny Lane". She contributed much of her life to many political campaigns for family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 12:00 Noon. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until service time. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
