May the God of all comfort give your family the strength you need at this time of great sorrow. Death is an enemy to mankind as stated at 1Corinthians 15:26. It breaks into our lives with irresistible force and it robs us of those we hold so dear. One day very soon Almighty God will swallow up death forever Isaiah 25:8 and when he does he will give us the gift of everlasting life. Throw all your anxieties on God because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:6,7.

Words cannot express the sorrow that I feel for you. Not a single one of us should ever lose a child, husband , or father. Our loving Creator knows how hard this is on you. We are told at Ezekiel 18:32 “‘for I do not take any delight in the death of someone dying, is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord .” As you can see, He does not like death anymore than we do. It is not his will for us to die which is why He has given us the hope of everlasting life! (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Rev. 21:3, 4). As the God and Father of tender mercies, He wants you to find comfort in Him through prayer (2Cor 1:3).
