David Andres Hopkins

      David A Hopkins aged 65 passed away on Monday, August 8th 2022 at his residence in Harahan, La. Beloved husband of Gwendolyn S. Hopkins for 45 years. Father of Gary D. Hopkins (Jenny), Brett D. Hopkins (Nelby), and Brian D. Hopkins, Pawpaw to Kingston D. Hopkins and Chanse D. Hopkins. Son of the late Andrietta C. Hopkins, brother of Anthony Colon (Kathy), the late Betty Labit and Henry Hopkins (Crystal). Also survived by sister-in-law Brenda S Constantine (Ray) and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.Deepest appreciation to Celeste Gagliano for her unconditional love and care.
   
      He was the owner of Hopkins and Sons Enterprises LLC. Dave was a member of the Harahan Fire Dept. for many years. He was also a member of the Harahan Police Reserves.
 
     Relatives and friends of the family are invited to a Celebration of Life at the V.F.W 1133 Hickory Ave. Harahan, La 70123 on August 27th from 2pm to 5pm followed by a walking procession from the V.F.W to his residence.
