Cora Elizabeth Brothers

Cora Brothers, of Albany, NY, died peacefully on January 6, 2021 surrounded by loved ones at the age of 82.
Cora is survived by her 2 sons, Terry Horton and Robert Horton; her sister, Shirley Froehlich; eight grandchildren: Dee, April, Kanoa Jo, Teri Rae, Eva, Beth, Mitchell, and Matthew; and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eva and Judson Brothers Sr.; her brother, Judson Brothers Jr.; her daughters, Sharon Horton Odom and Eva Horton; and her husband, Douglas Kampfer.
She loved cooking, traveling, gambling, and spending time with her family. Her passion was playing with her grandchildren, getting to know them, and bringing joy to their lives.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70001 with visitation beginning at 2:00 pm followed by a service and burial at 3:00 pm.
