Jesus called Clyde Ethridge, Jr. home to Heaven on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the age of 66.
Born in Leeland, Mississippi to the late Clyde Ethridge, Sr. and the late Nell Weatherly Connell, Clyde is survived by his loyal and loving wife of 37 years, Vickie Ethridge; his brother, John P. Ethridge (Linda) and sister, Suzanne Rutledge (Roy); grandnephew, Michael Ethridge (Adrianne) and their son, Eli; grandnieces, Katie Ethridge and Melissa Pugh and her children, Morgan, Hamner, Amelia, and Sawyer. He is also survived by his faithful and devoted furry companion, Buddy. Clyde was a man who loved the Lord and the Lord’s people. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Kenner. His bright smile and caring heart will be missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA 70001. Visitation will be held prior to services from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
