Charlotte Claire Scallan

Charlotte Chabaud Scallan, 77, of Kenner, Louisiana, passed away November 29, 2021. Charlotte was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 27, 1944. Charlotte was an International Shipping Coordinator until she retired. She was the mother of two children and the grandmother to two children. She enjoyed cooking, family gatherings and had a wonderful sense of humor. Her home was always open to friends, family, and anyone in need. She is survived by her children Joseph Arves (Lori) and Jennifer Arves; her longtime companion David Lodrigues and his children Lori, Lindey, and Michael; her siblings Ralph Chabaud, and Suzanne Chabaud Kemery (Tim); her grandchildren Zowie Moore (Nigel), Kaleb Arves and Gary Scallan, Jr. She is preceded in death by her parents Marion “Max” Chabaud and Joyce Dantone Angelette and her brother Allan Chabaud.
A service will be held for friends and family at Tharp-Sontheimer Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd, Metairie, LA, on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 with visitation at 11:00 am and service starting a 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the poor.
