Bruce Edwin Burley

Bruce Edwin Burley passed away on March 4, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sheryl and Willie Mae Francis Burley. He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Helen Burley; his children: Christopher Edwin Burley (Latoyia), Roxie Sibley and Jaytee Sibley Jr.; grandchildren: Carmen Elana Burley, Asher Maze Burley, Olivia Camille Burley, Raheem Guy, Raynee Guy and Artist Harris; siblings: Keith Arnold Burley, Frank Hallie Burley and Robert James Burley and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and family. Bruce was a teacher and a member of the Knights of Peter, Third and Fourth Degree. He loved music and was a member of the Mass Choir. Visitation will be held Friday, March 17, 2023 at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 2015 Louisiana Ave., New Orleans, Louisiana 70115 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. A funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. with interment immediately thereafter at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, Louisiana.
