Austin James Boyles

 
Austin James Boyles passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018. He was born on May 12, 1995 in Muncie, IN and lived in Valparaiso and Kouts, IN, before moving to Kenner, LA in 2007, where he graduated from Bonnabel High School. He is survived by his father, James B. Boyles, and his mother and step-father, Brandi L. Bartels and Michael C. Sims, Sr., his siblings, Michael C. Sims, Jr. (Candace), Ashley E. Sims, Alissa A. Sims, Ella L. Sims, Osias R. Sims, LaTasha Imoe, Jamie Burris and the late Eric M. Sims. He is also survived by his grandparents, Merle Bartels, Debbie Bartels, Bettye Boyles, Tyreeta Byers and Donna P. Sims (the late Charlie) and great-grandmother Donna Storms (the late Barney), his uncles and aunts, Eric and Melissa, Adam and Abby, Terrell and Hilda, Peggy, and Joe Nathan and many much loved nieces, nephews, cousins, great aunts and great uncles. Austin was an inside salesman at Five Star Commercial Roofing in Hartford City, IN and later worked at Olive Garden in Kenner, LA. He was active at Church of the King and he loved to serve others in every way he could. He loved watching and playing basketball, playing videos games, hanging with his friends, spending time with his family, listening to  music and building his massive playlist, and above all, making others laugh. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation and service on Friday, July 20, 2018 at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. The Service will be held in the Chapel at 5:15 pm. Interment will be private at a later date.
