Aubury Anthony Herbert Sr

Aubury Anthony Herbert Sr. passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the age of 76. He was born on November 27, 1941 in New Orleans, La. the son of the late Clarence Richmond Herbert and Felicia Avril Herbert. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 57 years, Myrtie Holliday Herbert, and his daughters Elizabeth Herbert Adams (Mike), Susan Herbert Chauvin (Harry) and the late Aubury Anthony Herbert Jr. He will also be deeply missed by his five grandsons Daniel Wedig, Michael Adams, Jacob Herbert, Joshua Herbert and Jeffrey Herbert. His brothers and sisters, Rita Herbert Salinas, Milton Emile Herbert Sr. , Betty Herbert McGrady, Mary Herbert Smith, and the late Clarence Henry Herbert ,Shirley Herbert Brent and Elaine Herbert Ovella, and also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Aubury’s hobbies were coaching and watching sports, drinking coffee and socializing in the local establishments and vacationing at Disney World, The Happiest Place on Earth. Aubury was a business owner of (Herbert’s Roofing).During his life he touched the hearts of many through family, friends and work. Aubury will be sadly missed by all but never forgotten.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11:30 am and the visitation will start at 9:00 am until service time.
