Arthur Gordon Norton Sr

Arthur G. “Art” Norton, Sr. passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 14, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Norton and Agnes Steen Norton. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Faye Fletcher Norton, half-brother Charles Van House, daughter Julia Landaiche (Richard), his sons, Arthur Norton, Jr. and Wesley Norton, Sr. (Robin) and his grandchildren, Kadie Norton Sewell, Emily Norton Sewell, Wesley Norton, Jr., Amy Norton and Jami Norton. He was twice Past Master Mason at the Perseverance Lodge #4 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He served in the Air Force at Barksdale air force base in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA. Family visitation will be at 9:00. Public visitation will begin at 11:00 am. Service will begin at 1:00 followed by entombment in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
