Antonio F. Zaror

Antonio Farouck Zaror entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 27, 2022 at the age of 76. The hole left by his absence is impossible to fill.  Tony was born in Comayaguela, Honduras. After moving to New Orleans at the age of twelve, his family set roots in the Irish Channel where he lived until marrying Eilleen Rivera Zaror in 1968. Tony was employed as a copy operator for Xerox Corporation and was contracted to Freeport-McMoRan. He retired after 29 years of dedicated service. Tony humbly shared  his love of cars and he was a great story teller. He would help anyone in need and would often give advice to anyone who would listen. Beloved father of Eileen Zaror. Son of the late Jorge Elias Zaror and Blanca Alicia Saybe. Brother of Alexander Rivas (Catherine), Allan Rivas, and the late Adriana Rivas. Uncle of Alexander Rivas Jr., Tyrone Rivas, Alllan Rivas Jr., Ana Alicia Giron, and the late Melissa Galliano. Tony is also survived by many aunts, cousins, dear friends, and his lifelong childhood friend, Kamal Dieck(Elida), whom he admired.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Garden of Memories Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive Metairie, LA 70001 on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm with a Mass starting at 2:00 pm followed by burial.
