Abel P. Orellana

Abel P. Orellana went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the age of 82. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Antonia Orellana; three children, Lourdes McLeod (Lombardo), Carlos Orellana and Juan Alejandro (Melinda); six grandchildren: Lombardo Eric McLeod, Logan Elliott McLeod, Jillian Annalise Orellana, Adriana Elizabeth Orellana, Caitlin Alise Orellana and Emerson Alexis Orellana and a sister, Emerita Pineda. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lisandro Pineda and Ernestina Pineda de Pineda; a sister, Ella Pineda and a brother, Ricardo Pineda.
Abel was a resident of Kenner for 45 years and was a parishioner of St. Jerome Catholic Church where he served as an Extraordinary Minister of Communion.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 1:00 PM at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 2402 33rd Street in Kenner, LA. Visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.  Interment will be in St. John Mausoleum located in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
