Joy Weathersby Riedie

Joy Weathersby Clark Riedie passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on January 26, 1938, to the late Willie Teasley Weathersby and Ernest L. Weathersby of Copiah County, Mississippi. She is survived by her husband of 48 years to Joseph B. Riedie, and two sons, Albert (Bo) Clark and Dwight Clark, three grandsons Dwight (D.J.), Bryce and Jason Clark, a daughter-in-law Cindy R. Clark and her great granddaughter Freyja J. Clark. She is preceded in death by her daughters Sharon Ann Kenmure, her angel on earth Terri Lynn Clark, her grandson Ralph (R.J.) Kenmure and all her brothers and sisters, Effie Oaks, Margie Shows, Cecil Weathersby, Inez Clark, Jake Weathersby, Ernestine Elkins, and Joann McCann. She will be missed by many other family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Service on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA. 70001. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with a service at 12:00 PM. Interment will be immediately thereafter.
