Zella Mae LoBrandon, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Thomas; two daughters, Betty Jo Williams and Vivian Leigh Thomas; two sons, Wilbert Thomas, Jr., and Derrick Thomas; her parents, Robert and Rachel Hootsel LoBrandon and her eight siblings: Eugene Richardson, Bernice Williams, Cassie Mae Miller, Lottie Ann LoBrandon, Alfred Lee LoBrandon, Lionel LoBrandon, Ivory LoBrandon and Carolyn Miller. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her eleven children: Regina Johnson, Zella Mae Roberts (Donald), Genevia Moore (Ricky), Robert Thomas, Clifton Thomas (Nina), Rachel Callaway, Constance Rose Lewis (Joseph), Donna Lynn Porter (Lee), Henry Thomas (Ora Lee), Eugene Thomas (Angie) and Sherri Thomas; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Royal Palace Ministries, 6751 Carver Drive in Marrero, LA. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park in New Orleans, LA.
